It’s time for a Spring Storm!

Standard

I don’t know about you, but I’m about finished with winter.  I’ve done my sledding, drank my hot chocolate and worn all my comfy sweaters.  Time for some fresh spring air and the beautiful colors that it brings.  But sadly, it’s still February and the odds are that there’s at least another snow storm out there coming our way.  So to help Spring along a bit, I’m including some of my favorite flower patterns.  If the flowers aren’t ready to come out themselves, perhaps we could help them along with a few knitted or crocheted inspirations placed around town.  I hope you decide to join in!

Valentine Yarnstorm

Standard

Pull out your red yarn stash and knit a tag for this Friday.

We are going to “Storm” Spiotta park again this Friday night at 8 pm.

Think Valentine’s Day,  Chinese New Year (It’s the year of the Bunny)

or anything you can dream of to brighten this February.

If you can’t make it Friday, drop by on your own time and add your tag.

Both make for some fun Yarnstorming.

Spiotta Park in South Orange is definitely ready for a pick me up yarnstorm.

And the Maplewood Clocktower is looking rather naked.

So join us for another

We can swap patterns, check out new projects and prepare for another Yarnstorm
Here are some links to patterns to get you started
(I made a bunch of these one year and felted them.  We could put fortunes in them and hang them all over a tree.  Anyone game?)
