International Yarnbombing Day!

Standard

This Saturday is International Yarnbombing Day!

I’m so excited.  In my town it happens to coincide with an event called  Celebrate South Orange, so we had to plan a project perfectly suited to both events.

Thanks to the many local yarnstormers who have created about 250 orange circles and squares for this giant tag.  Last night we started sewing them all together.   It’s gorgeous!

Tomorrow night we will hang or work.  It’s going to create an amazing piece when it’s all finished and a perfect tribute to the town of South Orange.

Please join us from 6-8 in Spiotta Park on South Orange Avenue in downtown South Orange, NJ.

I can’t wait to show you the final project.

Stay tuned…….
